Professional Experience

Mr. Ernest Atwarm is currently the Head of Internal Audit Department of the Bank, a position he has held since December, 2019. Until his appointment as the Head of Internal Audit, he was the Risk and Compliance Manager from May, 2018 to December, 2019.

Mr. Ernest Atwarm had more than thirteen (13) years working experience in Rural Banking and has rising through the ranks occupying various positions as Reconciliation Officer, Credit Officer and Assistant Internal Auditor. He joined the Bank in June 2016 as Internal Audit Officer and later appointed as Head of Risk and Compliance Department.

Education

Mr. Atwarm holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting awarded by University of Education - Winneba, Diploma in Accounting and also he is a Chartered Banker.
