Kumawuman Rural Bank Plc, one of the largest Rural Bank in Ghana in terms of deposit and asset base, has successfully organized its maiden health walk at Effiduase in the Sekyere East District of Ghana to promote healthy living.
The event which took place on Saturday, 11th May 2024, under the theme "We are your listening Bank...Bank with us today", commenced at the Effiduase Branch’s forecourt, through the principal streets of Effiduase to Asokore township and back to Effiduase. The two-and-a-half-hour walk brought together the Board, Management, Staff, customers, and some partners of the Bank.
Some of the Dignitaries present included Mr. C. K. Nimo (Board Member), Madam Lydia Owusu-Afriyie (Board Member), ASP Osei Yeboah (Effiduase Police Commander), Mr. Frank Agyei (Deputy Director of Education, GES-Kumawu), Mr. Felix Agyapong (Chairman of Sekyere East Teachers Social Club –SETSOC) amongst others.
Speaking at the event, Mr. Ernest Atwarm, the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, explained that Kumawuman Rural Bank Plc cares about the well-being of its customers, staff, and other stakeholders, thus, the initiative to promote healthy living through regular health walk programmes. He also encouraged participants to engage in such activities to promote their health and well-being as the Bank also takes care of their banking and financial needs.
